wow! i thought i was the only one to have this happen to!

I try to be well prepared for my visits (which are out of pocket and not covered by insurance) and it's very frustrating to have the physician sit there and read through the chart trying to remind themselves of what is going on.

I look forward to your next post :)

What would we do without our beyond excellent pharmacists, huh? Sorry for your frustration. Sounds like she has major brain fog herself. and can't keep it together. Blessings, to you.

i'm sorry to hear of your difficult (ish) experiences with llmd's as well. i am also at a point where i am evaluating if i should indeed contue with my llmd as it is costly and they are not being helpful to me unless i am there at their office them collecting money. i guess i need to try to find closer resources. Good Luck with your journey. I could not take rifampin, could not function at all.

September 12, 2011

I just found your site. I have struggled for over ten years with Lyme and/or it's after effects. Never, in that time, has anyone so cogently reflected what I have been experiencing! I constantly want to "bargain" (with whom, I don't know)....could I just have my brain back! It is unbelievable how you have expessed what I have been unable to for years.

In fact, I am going to share this site. Perhaps some will finally understand what it has been like. I will be following your blog. Again...thank you!

I'm so sorry that you had that particular experience. I have had a similar experience years ago and I am glad that your friend gave you that great suggestion. I also had to do that and I felt quite horrible because later I found that the person that had made the serious blunder had been released and no longer was working there. After I felt horrible for a moment, I came to find that it wasn't an isolated instance. Thank goodness I had taken the time to explain the situation. I was thanked by the office manager about a month later when I saw her at the office.
